About Me
I am a software engineer working in the autonomous vehicle industry. I work in the planning and control team of Motional. Before entering industry, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in 2019 from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in Rutgers University. My dissertation focused on applying machine learing approach to controlling underactuated robots such as autonomous bicycle and bipedal robots. I am passionate about advancing robotics research with optimization, ML/AI and hardware design. My research interest includes:
- Robust locomotion of underactuated robots ;
- Machine learning for whole body estimation;
- Controll of safety critical systems.
